Every living thing is essentially energy, vibration upon vibration, in which we interact with each other at the energetic level! Reiki is an ancient healing technique that helps to move stagnant or blocked energy throughout your 7 chakras and your body.
What are chakras? There are 7 main chakras, which are spinning wheels of energy, our own life force within us that interacts with the universal life force around us! When these chakras are blocked due to a variety of causes, it can cause emotional, physical, spiritual, and mental distress, challenges, and illness.
When you begin to tune into these chakras, you can understand why and when they are blocked, and work to open and balance them. While Reiki was rediscovered in the 1800s in Japan, it is believed that this healing art actually dates back thousands of years.
New to Reiki? The session is typically 60-90 minutes in which you will be lying comfortably on your back and I will lightly touch or hover over the chakra centers. I also use crystals during the session to further help open up the energy, as well as Himalayan singing bowls to open and close the session.
